Garment Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary: The Warehouse 14 Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the fabric, accessories, and cut goods warehouses. This role ensures optimal process flow, efficient personnel supervision, adherence to policies and procedures, and safeguarding of inventories and documents. The Warehouse Supervisor will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, cost-effective operations, and collaboration with other departments to resolve issues and enhance warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Process Flow: Ensure the smooth and efficient process flow within the fabric, accessories, and cut goods warehouses. Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse personnel to meet targets and deadlines. Personnel Supervision: Lead and manage warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to company policies. Policy Implementation: Ensure that all warehouse policies and procedures are properly implemented and followed. Propose and input ideas for improving warehouse operations and efficiency. Inventory Management: Secure and safeguard all stocks, inventories, records, and documents. Monitor and manage the inventory of fabrics, accessories, and cut goods, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Reporting: Prepare and send fabric inventory reports (RPRO: Manual) to the Production Manager. Update and maintain Google Sheets for fabric monitoring and issuance per collection/style. Marker Plan Coordination: Receive and review marker plans from CAD, ensuring all necessary fabrics are available for preparation and issuance. Monitor fabric availability in the warehouse, follow up with CAD for marker requests, and ensure timely issuance to cutting. Cost Control: Control warehouse expenses and contribute to cost-effective operations by saving materials and resources. Collaboration: Collaborate with other Departments, including but not limited to Purchasing, Merchandising, Quality Control, CAD, and Cutting, to discuss issues, resolve problems, and enhance overall warehouse operations. Disposal Management: Oversee the disposal of old stock fabrics, end cuts, and cut-ends, ensuring proper procedures are followed. Key Areas of Control: Receiving Report Issuance Monitoring Report (Fabric to cutting), (Fabric goods to fabric tracking), Accessories to Subcon Liquidation Report Final Excess Report Inventory Management and Personnel Supervision Other Duties: Perform other duties and functions as assigned by the company from time to time.
