Summary: Works a 12-hour rotating shift to monitor and control gas pipeline systems.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Monitor and control the pipeline systems for PEPL/TGC/Sea Robin/Rover Pipelines. Manage pressures, linepack, horsepower requirements, receipts and deliveries of the pipeline systems to maximize operational efficiencies. Determine system requirements and changes needed to maintain customer deliveries. Work with field operations personnel, resolve customer problems and implement outage coordination plans. Position requires working a 12-hour rotating shift, including nights and weekends, maintaining a high level of attention at all times. Occasional overtime on short notice. Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, specifically Microsoft Excel and Word, is essential. NOTE: Candidates may be considered for a different level in the Controller job family depending on experienceRequirements: Education and/or experience, knowledge, skills & abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
Four years of Energy Industry/Gas Control experience required for the A level. Strong Analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills required. Must have the ability to balance multiple tasks under tight deadlines.Preferred Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree (English/Science) or related work experience desirable, which includes familiarity with pipeline systems, compressor stations, or gas supply operations. Planning/Organizing, and problem-solving skills a plus.Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Vet
