Job Title: Natural Gas Designer/Engineer Location: Orlando, FL Description: Actalent is seeking a Natural Gas Designer/Engineer to join our Gas Design Team in Orlando. This role primarily supports Underground Natural Gas Pipeline Design projects for utility companies throughout Florida. Key design elements include pumps, heat exchangers, flanges, valves, bypass valves, meters, and flowpipes. Responsibilities: + Prepare computer-drafted natural gas pipeline as-builts and mechanical detail drawings. + Reproduce historic pipeline drawings in AutoCAD. + Generate bill of materials. + Work independently. + Print working drawings using a plotter. + Create estimated time requirements for projects. + Attend project-specific meetings to determine CAD schedules. + Save project-specific data on a daily and weekly basis. + Operate a scanner to duplicate project documents and scan field notes. + Complete pipeline 'as-built' drawings from field notes, historic documents, and survey data. + Complete 811 design requests and coordinate responses to obtain 3rd party infrastructure. + Verify and organize field visit survey notes. + Assist Project Managers as needed. + Attend meetings as needed. + Maintain excellent client relations. + Maintain a safe working environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
