Partner with the best

As a GT Operability Engineer you will: 

Analyze different scenarios relevant to steady state and transient performance and fuel gas burnability both in mechanical drive and power generation application to define the best configuration limits to meet customer requirements.

Work with different engineering teams to build Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine models of Baker Hughes products perform simulations using different simulation platforms (e.g. Aspen, Easy5, Matlab/Simulink)

Define, based on the operational limits (e.g. combustion, speed transients, start up), the operability philosophy to be translated in control specification.

Participate to New Product development programs

To be successful in this role you will have:

Mechanical, Chemical or Aeronautical Engineering degree is preferred;

Minimum 2 years’ experience in Baker Hughes products, some knowledge of Gas Turbines performance, fuels applicability and Combined Cycle Plant Modeling;

Fluency in English

Demonstrated design creativity and problem solving capabilities;

Ability to work in a global environment team;

The candidate should demonstrate her/his ability passion for technology and open mind to explore new solutions

Knowledge of Turbines & Combined Cycle thermodynamics and control philosophy would be a plus

Familiarity with Aspen Plus, Unisim, Hysys, Easy5 and Matlab/Simulink simulation software and knowledge of fortran programming would be a plus
