Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a dedicated and skilled Gastroenterologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. The Hospital is part of NYC Health + Hospitals. Lincoln is a designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties including its award- winning Cancer and Breast Centers. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Weill Medical College of Cornell University to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Diagnosing and treating GI disorders including Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, and other digestive diseases Providing advice on diet and nutrition to patients and referring them to registered dietitians as needed Performing endoscopic procedures, such as ERCPs, colonoscopies, sigmoidoscopies, upper endoscopies, duodenoscopies, gastroscopies, and barium swallows Conducting research to advance knowledge about gastrointestinal diseases and treatments Prescribing medications to treat digestive disorders and performing surgery to remove polyps or other abnormalities in the colon or rectum Performing diagnostic tests, such as blood tests and stool tests to determine the cause of a patient’s symptoms Participating in continuing education activities to maintain professional certification Referring patients to specialists if further diagnostic testing or treatment is needed Providing medical care to patients with chronic diseases, such as diabetes or hypertension, to manage symptoms and prevent complications
