Gastroenterology Scheduling Coordinator
Summary: Responsible for scheduling of all Gastroenterology Department procedures. Education: Skills normally obtained through completion of a High School education. In addition, a clinical/administrative support certification program, or equivalent is preferred. Experience: Three to five years medical office/hospital setting with high level of personnel contact and/or hospital or industrial scheduling experience. Computer experience in Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office required. Working Conditions, Physical Environment and/or Safety Requirements : Works in a clean well-lighted and well-ventilated area. Long periods of sitting with intermittent standing and walking. Periods of high tension due to changing needs and short notice. Frequent telephone calls and interruptions. Computer work and filing require eye/hand coordination, finger dexterity, and manipulative ability. Meets all safety requirements associated with the Medical Center.
