The primary purpose is to respond and assist the Gastroenterologist and the Registered Nurse by providing assistance to professional staff of GI during the pre-procedure, procedure or post-procedure period. This position will assist with procedure room set-up, scope cleaning and scope maintenance, as well as entering and maintaining inventory control. **Education and/or Experience** + Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; six months to one year medical experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. + Required to complete the SGNA GI Associates program and receive the certificate of completion within 18 months of employment. + On-the-job training will be provided. **Work Schedule** + 7:00am-7:30pm, occasional weekend/holiday/call; 72 hours every 2 weeks + Approx. 1 out of every 10 weekends! + Approx. 1 holiday every other year! **Pay** The hourly range for this position is listed below.
