Gate Clerk 1st Shift Details:

Temporary position$18.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday)Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company and carrier requirements.Maintain accurate inventory records and update databases as needed.Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely deliveries.Keep shipping and receiving areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.Handle shipping documents, invoices, and tracking information.Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment (if required).

Gate Clerk 1st Shift Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or warehousing is a plus.Proven experience in shipping/receiving, inventory management, or a similar role.Ability to operate forklifts or material handling equipment (certification preferred if required).Strong attention to detail for inspecting shipments, verifying orders, and maintaining records.Basic computer skills for updating inventory databases and handling shipping documents.Good organizational skills to keep work areas clean and compliant with safety standards.Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.Strong communication skills for coordinating with vendors, carriers, and internal teams.Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
