As an Airfreight Gateway Agent, you will manage and oversee the shipment lifecycle for assigned consolidations. You will be accountable for executing tasks for each shipment, including daily communication, reporting, and email management. If you are motivated and eager to grow in the freight forwarding industry, apply today! **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following: **Maintain Operational Excellence:** + Understand the processes, documentation, and terminology involved in international shipping from time of purchase order issuance through the delivery of the cargo + Initiate, prepare, process and assemble all required documentation for air freight shipments + Ensure documentation is accurately processed, distributed, and released to the carrier, suppliers, and agents in a timely manner + Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt processes/create solutions in response to challenges both internally and externally + Execute/coordinate tasks on the shipments to meet all SOP requirements, including submission of SLI’s to carriers, updates on shipment, tracking of shipments, etc. + Create, maintain, and update shipments in Navisphere, ensuring accurate data + Ensure a high-level of data integrity on the master level of a consolidation, including routing, eManifest status, master level INCOterms and documents **Facilitate Relationships:** + Communicate clearly both internally and externally, timely and effectively with overseas offices, agents, customers and outside vendors to ensure a smooth flow of the shipment + Promote a positive working relationship for all team members **Other Activities:** + Work according to C.H.
