Below are some of the Roles and Responsibilities (R&R's) of the activities within the Powertrain Operations Manufacturing Engineering. Powertrain Manufacturing Engineering (PTME) is primarily responsible to deliver facilities that produce new product programs. There are also ongoing responsibilities to support PTME processes and internal business partners.
1. The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic or Electromechanical Engineering.
2. The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in developing manufacturing processes.
3. Excellent communication skills in professional English, both oral and written.
4. Must have United States of America VISA and Passport available.
5. Ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
6. Strong problem-solving skills.
7. Experience with Quality Standards and Regulations.
8. Experience in Purchase Orders generation and follow up to invoice payment.
9. Familiarity with PTME procedures for Equipment Acceptance.
10. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
11. Strong organizational and time management skills.
12. Flexibility to work extended hours as required.
13. Proficiency on English language
Maintain/Update Gauging Strategy and Gauging Application Specification. Create new standards as required to support new technologies. Maintain/Update BoP gauging costs and establish baseline costs for new technologies. Lead/Maintain/Update GESWP for gauging equipment. Support PE teams in SIMO meetings, CPMT, DCP, design drawing signoff, field runoffs, GR&R studies and capability studies as required to ensure compliance with standards. Lead continuous improvement efforts in gauging methodologies. Evaluate product designs and identify any features for gauging feasibility. Coordinate packaging, shipping, delivery, installation and commissioning of gauge equipment that represents new technologies; things that the Core team orders. Support in-plant machine capability studies, as required. Provide spare parts list for 1295 generation by third party.
