The Cross Markets Group (CMG) is a classic investment banking team with dedicated bankers that spans all industry sectors, including TMT, Industrials, Consumer Retail, Healthcare, Natural Resources, Real Estate and Financial Institutions. The CMG team is focused on expanding Investment Banking’s coverage of corporate clients and sponsor portfolio companies as well as financial sponsors, and provides M&A, financing and other corporate finance solutions to those clients. We work with founders, sponsors and executives to deliver quality advice and execution across products. The team offers flexibility in terms of industry focus, with the ability to gain exposure to a broad or narrower range of sectors, depending on background and experience. TMT Vice Presidents within CMG will work with public and private clients across a range of subsectors, including digital infrastructure, telecommunications, towers, data centers, fiber, etc.
Qualifications
Investment banking or equivalent experienceBachelor’s degree and 3+ years OR MBA and 1+ year of investment banking or equivalent experienceSector expertise within Digital Infrastructure, Telecommunications, or TMT preferred Experience with due-diligence and transaction execution processes requiredExperience with buy-side and sell-side M&A, equity and debt financing transactions requiredStrong financial modelling skills and experience of building/maintaining operating models requiredExperience of preparing and maintaining industry/company presentations and benchmarking materials and other process documents requiredExperience of financial valuations with knowledge of DCF, LBO, merger modelling, comparable companies, precedent transactions etc. requiredStrong team orientation and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with team membersExcellent communication and presentation skillsSolid work ethic, motivation level, and strong attention to detailPersonal integrity, initiative and leadership qualitiesCapacity to interact and build relationships with a wide range of people and act as a point of contactSalary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $150000-$225000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
