BUSINESS SEGMENT AND ROLE OVERVIEW
Global Corporate Access' mission is to bring institutional investors and corporate clients together in ways that add value for both parties. We aim to become a trusted source of information as we help companies gain access and insight to their current and future shareholder base. Based on the Equity Trading floor in London, our services range from, and are not limited to, discussion around investor relations strategy and programs, shareholder base analysis and targeting, market colour and strategic interactions with investors. We partner with various divisions of Goldman Sachs: Equity Sales, Equity Research, Investment Banking / ECM / Corporate Broking, PWM and we are a company's connectivity to the equity markets when underwriting is not involved. Our services include originating and then helping to plan non-deal road shows, field trips, and conferences. We are currently looking for a candidate with at least two years of market facing experience to fulfil an analyst / junior associate role within the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Be part of the Origination team covering the Industrials and TMT business verticalsFeed into product initiatives the team provides Investor Relations teams – including sourcing market colour and contributing to a daily morning emailHaving a keen interest in how the markets operate and curiosity to learn and understand more is essentialWork collaboratively with Investment Research and together own Corporate relationships with a view to winning Non-Deal Roadshow mandatesWorking together with our Logistics team; being ultimately responsible for the delivery of conferences, roadshows, fieldtrips and ad-hoc investor inquires pertaining to your Industry verticalsSolicit and draft feedback reports post non-deal roadshowsWilling to work collaboratively with the team and other divisions and keeping key internal stakeholders updatedWork closely with Equity Sales across different regions on idea generation on non-deal roadshow and conferences (thematic, timely events)Responsible for consumption analysis for investing clients, corroborating / entering missing data, producing weekly calendar of events, etc
