Job Description

Position Summary:

The GBS AI Engineer will play a dynamic and creative role in completing the GBS Shared Services AI strategy globally across GBS Shared Services workstreams including R2R, P2P, O2C and Customer Care. This role will be responsible for demonstrating advanced technologies such as Gen AI and others, to enhance existing business processes. The role will involve researching, designing, developing and implementing innovative solutions to improve efficiency and drive strategic growth. The AI Engineer will partner with a range of customers including, GBS Shared Services Operations, Automation, IT, and PPI.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with partners across GBS workstreams (including R2R, P2P, O2C and Customer Care) to identify and architect use cases for Generative AI.

Complete the implementation of AI use cases, including the development of process and technology workflows. Ensure these workflows are efficient, scalable, and align with the specific objectives of each use case.

Design and implement proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate the feasibility and value of emerging gen AI technologies in addressing business challenges.

Evaluate existing business processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement where AI could be a solution.

Propose and implement innovative AI solutions to streamline processes, increase productivity, and drive operational efficiency. 

Evaluating and selecting appropriate AI tools and machine learning models for tasks, as well as building and training working versions of those models

Stay abreast of advancements in AI technology and evaluate their potential impact on our business.

Facilitate training and knowledge sharing sessions to enhance AI literacy within the company

Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical customers.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor in a relevant field (Computer Science, Machine Learning, etc.).

5+ years of experience in developing algorithms using data science technologies to build analytical models

5+ years of data extraction/manipulation experience using scripts specific to AI/ML

5+ years of experience in data wrangling/cleansing, statistical modeling, and programming

5+ years of experience for fluency in both structured and unstructured data (SQL, NOSQL)

Proven hands-on experience in data science and Natural Language Processing (NLP), Natural Language Understanding (NLU) and Natural Language Generation (NLG).

Experience within a shared services environment or in a consulting capacity is desired

Prior experience with Finance areas including R2R, P2P or O2C is a plus

Highly collaborative; aligns effectively with colleagues and business partners to deliver results while increasing the success of all contributors

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
