Job Overview and Responsibilities
Syensqo is creating its internal Global Business Services (GBS) to cover Finance, Procurement and Human Resources activities. We offer you to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment and to contribute to this group’s transformation.

Our Central posting team is integrated into the GBS Financial Accounting Service unit.
As a Team Leader you will lead and develop a team of 5 people responsible for the following key activities:
Global IFRS central processes, as IAS19, HSE, insurances, audit fees, restructuring, bonus / Equity compensation (not exhaustive list) Create or Update General Ledger Master Data (chart of account/GL tables/accounting schemes/document type) Update BFC interfaces aiming at minimizing the number of blocking controls to be solved Analyze and Reconcile tool Lead some ww processes from posting to BFC checks with a focus on compliance (accuracy/respect of deadlines) and efficiency (automation/standardization) Answer auditors for central processes audited centrally (HSE, restructuring) Provide accounting justification and internal control for accounts in its perimeter
Key Responsibilities of a Team Leader
Education and Experience
Graduated in Finance/accounting studies - certified accountant Minimum 5 years’ experience in audit firm or international group (Company Accounting Manager) Experience in Team Management
