Job Overview and Responsibilities

 

Syensqo is creating its internal Global Business Services (GBS) to cover Finance, Procurement and Human Resources activities.  We offer you to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment and to contribute to this group’s transformation.

As a Junior financial analyst, you will be accountable for:

Monthly Management of Costing Allocations

Inventory valuation process

 

We count on you for:

Manage and ensure accurate costing processes, including recording transactional CO postings, running cost cycles, and settling WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) and orders.

Update and maintain master data, such as cost centers, cost cycles, WBS, and material FICO views.

Perform regular inventory valuations, ensuring proper financial reporting and compliance.

Analyze and report monthly IFRS financial statements (P&L, Margin in Inventories) in the relevant sections of the Consolidation tool (BFC)

Provide support for external audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing queries

Assist in executing internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Interact with stakeholders such as businesses and sites site controllers, general accountants and Country Accounting Managers

 

Education and Experience

Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting or Finance (other fields may be considered).

2 years of relevant work experience in accounting and/or audit.

 

Skills and behavioral competencies

Competencies:

Knowledge in Management Accounting Domains

Experience in SAP - CO/PS/AA/RE-FX/FI  modules

SAP Business Warehouse (BW) is a plus

Behaviors:

Fluent in English
