Position: Accounting Professional

 

Key Responsibilities:

Perform monthly closure for designated companies. Execute accounting operations in accordance with CAM guidelines and accounting standards for both local statutory and group reporting purposes. Provide analysis, advice, and resolve technical accounting issues. Take ownership of financial statements for a part or whole legal entity. Respond to customer requests for accounting and tax support. Analyze issues and propose solutions for remediation. Support and collaborate with the team in the Service Units on accounting issues. Lead or participate in small projects or continuous improvement initiatives. Work with peers in the Service Units to support improvements, changes, and new processes.

 

Additional Responsibilities (Depending on Location):

Support the preparation of local statutory financial statements. Oversee external consultants providing operational and tax activities. Oversee and participate in various tax audits.

 

Must-Have Skills and Qualifications:

University degree in accounting or finance, ideally with certification in international accounting. Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax and/or accounting operations. Proficiency in IFRS and ERP systems (preferably SAP). Strong knowledge of local compliance activities, tax, and technical accounting skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform analyses of local, IFRS, accounting, and tax. Strong local tax knowledge for specific Sr. Accounting Specialists supporting tax for a specific country. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
