The Role
The Analyst position requires global and cross-functional collaboration with partners from different business functions. The analyst will identify problems and drive improvements in business processes and performance through creative solutions. They will gain a deep understanding of the business by participating in workshops and discussions to capture objectives, pain-points, and opportunities, and translate them into effective processes and technological solutions. The analyst will also be involved in developing requirements, creating testing artifacts, and conducting system integration testing using various technologies such as custom cloud-based EPM applications, Hyperion Planning, SAP, HFM, and Power BI. Accordingly, strong analytical and technical skills, independent judgment, decision-making, accuracy, creativity, and initiative are essential for this role. The responsibilities include:
What You’ll Do
Participate in finance-focused discussions to quickly grasp and implement new planning concepts, identifying opportunities and solutions to complex financial challengesFunction as an intermediary between IT and Finance Business partners, building strong relationships to ensure Project objectives are metStrong technical and analytical skills are required to ensure the robustness and integrity of the system and its outputsPerform System Integration Testing (SIT) or User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to sign off that functionality designed by IT developers agrees with the contractual measures of success (or given Business requirements)Lead Parallel Testing with business partners by identifying key users and leading efforts to complete parallel testing efforts. Leading requires basic PMO abilities such as developing schedules, establishing kick off meetings, developing test cases, maintaining global office hours for support, and leading status updates with business partnersDevelop testing strategies to investigate system functionality, address business concerns, conduct root cause analysis and recommend appropriate corrective actionsAble to work with a high level of independent capability and initiativeAdditional Job DescriptionYour Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
