GBT Operations Supervisor

This position will be open and accepting applications until Tuesday, February 25, 2025.

The GBT Operations Supervisor will be directly involved in supervising all tasks related with receipt, storage and delivery operation of bulk products handled at terminal, supervises union staff and works in a rotating work schedule (e.g. nights, among others) and weekends, including holidays.


To support the department the Operation Departments team he/she will be working to meet the department’s milestones by:

Assistance to GBT Terminal and Projects Manager in ensuring that Safety, Security, Health, Quality, and Environmental expectations are met.Ensures that safety tools are properly and continuously used at the terminal.Direct coordination and supervision of tanker receipt operations in both plant and pier facilities (physically present during the operations, conducting all the necessary steps from the vessel's arrival to departure).Coordination and supervision of aviation-related activities.Coordination of product transfer between terminals.Coordination and participation in emergency drills.Coordinates security services at the terminal and reviews guard logs for night activities.Supervises tank dipping for inventory reconciliation.Ensures compliance with environmental requirements.Carries out regular tests of operational and safety equipment, confirming its reliability.Supervision of union employees while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and the collective bargaining agreement.Assists the Terminal Manager in training terminal personnel.Serves as a member of Emergency Response Teams.Assists the Terminal Manager in the preparation and planning of the CAPEX and OPEX budgets.Participates in project execution and planning and leads improvement works at the terminal.Participates in the implementation and control of the external/internal maintenance program.Fills in during the Operations Assistant Manager's absences.Responsible for keeping the Operational System (TM) database up-to-date for vehicles/drivers.Assists the Terminal Manager in the preparation/update of emergency response plans.Assists in the preparation of purchase orders for goods and services and monitors invoices.Assists in the implementation of the Maintenance and Repair program.Conducts preventive and corrective maintenance.Conducts meter calibration at the loading rack.Responsible for implementing safety procedures during work, providing, and signing work permits.Any other tasks assigned by terminal management.Receives alerts from the trucks' OBC (Onboard Camera) and initiates communication with transporters if necessary.

Other:

Responsible for ensuring compliance with MAESTRO’s principles, rules, procedures, among others, related to the job holder area and/or department, along with the implementation of the defined actions plan as a result of audits, inspections, visit, etc.Other tasks as assigned by management. To support our operations Department operations while performing the tasks mentioned above, the GBT Operations Supervisor will be working on an environment that:

 

Work in shifts as per terminal operating time schedule (night and day, weekend, and holidays) with a rotation in working hours on a regular basis.Supervise operational tasks for receipt, storage and delivery of bulk and packaged products according to TEMPR procedures.Participate in the maintenance program execution.Respect and make respect the HSEQ program,Supervision of union employees in accordance to local laws and bargain agreement. Candidate Profile

The requirements for this position are as follows:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science or related is preferred.Minimum 5 years of experience in:2+ years of experience in an operation in similar role in oil, pharmaceutical or related industry.2+ years of experience in a supervision role.Experience in Terminal Operations and Aircraft refueling and in Petroleum Industry is a plus.Valid driving license (without endorsement)Excellent oral, written and communications skills language.Computer skills is required.
