CTG is seeking to fill a GCM Relationship Manager I opening for our client in Wilmington, DE. Location: Wilmington, DE Duration: 12 months Overview: The GCM Relationship Manager I will manage client relationships and oversee the daily administration of assigned Global Capital Markets (GCM) accounts. This includes handling accounts with simple to moderate complexity, intricacy, and risk, while ensuring operational, administrative, and risk management activities for GCM transactions are in compliance with Bank policies and procedures. The role serves as the main point of contact with clients and both internal and external service partners to implement short- and long-term strategies for sustainable growth and compliance. Primary Responsibilities: Monitor relevant administrative and operational systems, databases, and activity related to GCM accounts to ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines. Review, analyze, and provide feedback on operative documents and agreements for assigned accounts. Coordinate risk monitoring and regulatory compliance activities for assigned accounts with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and/or Audit as necessary. Research and resolve issues related to account control and client service, working with both internal and external resources as needed. Collaborate with external parties, including attorneys, financial advisors, and service partners, to structure and close GCM transactions in a timely manner. Perform various account administration activities, such as cash flow execution, fee billing, internal and external reporting, and tickler processing. Support GCM Sales in client calls and the preparation of fee proposals for new business opportunities. Cultivate relationships with current and prospective clients, leveraging these relationships to uncover new business opportunities. Implement approved fee adjustments, discounts, and waivers per established procedures and controls. Monitor aged receivables and collaborate with Fee Billing to ensure timely collection. Provide coverage and support to other Relationship Managers within the team as needed, especially during periods of absence. Represent GCM at transaction closings and client meetings, preparing documentation to support client relationship growth. Participate in departmental projects and corporate initiatives as required. May supervise and mentor less experienced associates. Adhere to the company’s risk and regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with internal controls and escalating any issues to management. Scope of Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of Global Capital Markets accounts, ensuring proper administration and compliance. Direct involvement with client-facing activities, including meetings, presentations, and relationship cultivation. Coordination with internal partners (Legal, Risk, Compliance) to ensure seamless account management. Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities: May provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced associates. Serve as a backup for other Relationship Managers when needed. Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Proven experience in document and contract review. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office suite. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Education and Experience Preferred: Experience in financial services or capital markets is a plus. Familiarity with operational and administrative processes related to GCM transactions. Skills: Strong document/contract review experience. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
