This role will be instrumental in architecting cloud solutions, facilitating the adoption of new GCP services, and ensuring efficient resource deployment within our enterprise. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in GCP, a strong understanding of cloud architecture best practices, and the ability to navigate a complex organizational landscape. This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 3 to 6 months. _Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance._ Rate: $80 - $85 / hr. w2 **Responsibilities:** + Design and architect robust and scalable cloud solutions on GCP to support AI initiatives and other business needs, ensuring alignment with company standards and processes + Demonstrate a thorough understanding of GCP resources, their deployment, and their interdependencies + Understand and articulate the value proposition of various GCP services and build a compelling case for their implementation + Provide guidance and oversight on the configuration and deployment of GCP resources + Apply an understanding of data analytics and measurement principles to cloud architecture + Understand how data is ingested, stored, validated, and consumed within a cloud environment, and between systems + Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in GCP and cloud architecture + Effectively communicate technical solutions and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders **Experience Requirements:** + Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) + Solid understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices + Experience with resource deployment and management in GCP + Ability to architect solutions and understand the interactions between different GCP services + Familiarity with data analytics concepts and tools (e.g., Looker, Looker Studio is a plus) + Understanding of DevOps and data engineering principles + Experience working within complex global enterprise environments + Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions **Preferred Qualifications** + Hands-on experience with GCP configuration + Experience with Microsoft Azure + Experience with AI and machine learning services on GCP (e.g., Vertex AI) + Ability to build a business case for new technologies and influence technical decisions + Proactive and results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to "get things done **Education Requirements:** + Bachelor's Degree _Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate.
