Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage DevOps pipelines and automation solutions leveraging Google Cloud Platform services. Architect and deploy CI/CD pipelines, implement infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions to automate the provisioning and management of GCP resources, implement and manage containerization solutions on GCP, implement security best practices and compliance standards in DevOps pipelines and infrastructure. Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in DevOps and cloud computing. Collaborate with software development teams to optimize build, test, and deployment processes. Offer technical guidance and support to development teams on DevOps best practices, tools, and technologies.

Experience:

Over 10 years of experience, with 4+ years in the Lead DevOps Engineer, DevOps Architect, or similar role, and 2+ years of hands-on experience with the Google Cloud Platform technology stack. Proven Experience architecting and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Google Cloud Build and Cloud Deploy, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc. Strong experience in architecting and optimizing Kubernetes-based solutions in a DevOps environment including Kubernetes clusters and automating deployment processes. Experience in developing of Terraform Modules for core GCP infra components including VPC, subnets, security groups and GKE. Expertise in GCP Networking services (e.g. VPC, subnets, load balancing, DNS management), Security services (e.g. VPC, firewall, Cloud Armor), Security and compliance (GCP IAM, data security at rest and in transit, privacy regulations) and Identity management (SSO, MFA, etc.), GCP security services (e.g. IAM, Cloud SCC, Cloud KMS).  Strong knowledge of GCP services such as Compute Engine, GKE, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage. Proficiency in Scripting and automation (e.g., bash, Python) and Strong troubleshooting skills. Good Knowledge of DevOps practices including Test automation, Observability (GCP Cloud's operations suite, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc). GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Professional Cloud Network Engineer, or Kubernetes certifications are highly desired. Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities. Strong abilities in communication and collaboration.
