Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Participate in 3 to 4 job rotations over 2 years in various disciplines, including Controls Systems Design, Electromechanical Systems, Software Verification, Health Management Systems and others.Receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from world-class technologists and experienced technical managers.Engage in leadership development training with GE Aerospace program members from different Engineering teams.Develop technical problem-solving skills through the prestigious Advanced Course of Engineering (ACE), which includes 1 year of classroom training and 6 months of project-based training.Contribute to high-profile projects that impact GE Aerospace product lines, working under the supervision of experienced engineers.

Required Qualifications

Undergraduate or master’s degree in relevant Engineering disciplines (e.g., Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electromechanical) from an accredited university or college.Up to 1 year of graduation date/professional experience (other student co-op or internship experience is highly valued).Demonstrated knowledge in Controls Systems, Cyber-Physical Systems, Software  Development, or Electromechanical Systems (student projects and degree thesis are highly valued).Strong mathematical and analytical abilities: excellent command of numerical methods, college-level Mathematics (algebra, calculus), college-level Physics and Programming Languages.Passion for learning and technical growth, with a motivated, curious, and self-driven attitude.Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish.Ability to work effectively in a team, building trust and commitment with colleagues in a high-performance environment.Resilience and adaptability to fast-paced changes, with the ability to switch between technical disciplines and shorten learning curves.Demonstrated integrity in all business and academic dealings.Legal right to work in Mexico. We do not sponsor individuals for legal permits or visas.

Desired Characteristics

Excellent academic records (scholarships, travel bursaries, and research projects are a plus).Knowledgeable with Engineering computing tools and languages (C/C++, Python, Matlab, Simulink, Scade, LabView).Strong time management skills, with the ability to balance project assignments, academic activities, and personal time.Ability to develop personal connections with people and manage projects and initiatives (extra-curricular activities, community service, and volunteerism are highly valued).
