Summary: Seeking a Gear Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in gear hobbing and shaping techniques to lead process improvements and ensure quality standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering Minimum of 5 years of experience in gear manufacturing (10-15 years preferred) Experience with gear hobbing and shaping techniques Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, including GD&T Experience with CNC programming and developing inspection plans

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of lean manufacturing strategies Familiarity with ISO-9000, TS-16949 standards

Responsibilities:

Lead and improve gear manufacturing processes for quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness Develop manufacturing methods focusing on precision and repeatability Create CNC programs, process documentation, and standard operating procedures Design tooling, fixtures, and inspection procedures Facilitate communication between engineering and shop floor teams Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean strategies Ensure compliance with quality standards and support audit readiness Train production personnel to promote best practices

Pay Details: $45.00 to $55.00 per hour
