Geek Squad Technician - Health Devices

As a Geek Squad Technician for health devices, you’ll be responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and packaging health devices for vendors based on client need. You’ll clean, disinfect, test and ship devices for our third-party vendors, and at times, their patients. If you’re able to work with flexibility and adaptability while performing multiple roles in a changing environment, this is the right role for you.
What you’ll doPerform basic electronics repair with or without support, such as triage, testing functionality, troubleshooting and completing systems updates such as firmware/biosGrade parts and technology; identifying and reporting all nonconforming materials, devices and accessoriesInspect reprocessed kits by cleaning, disinfecting, visually inspecting and functionality testing all devicesDocument all required activities during cleaning, disinfecting, inspection and functionality testingComplete and maintain required certifications and wear appropriate equipment in respective workstationsBasic qualifications6 months of experience diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing technology products6 months of experience using Microsoft Office SuiteAble to stand and sit for long periods of timeAble to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining organizedAble to lift up to 25 pounds with or without accommodationAble to multitask and demonstrate strong attention to detailPreferred qualificationsPrevious experience working in a logistics or similar environment6 months of experience with Best Buy's proprietary systems or other related systems6 months of experience working in a quality management system environmentConsumer Electronics Manufacture Repair CertificationFluent in both English and SpanishWhat’s in it for you
