Gen Ed Para Educator – 4 hrs/day JobID: 11486 + Position Type: Paraeducator/ Paraeducator + Date Posted: 12/3/2024 + Location: West High School + Date Available: ASAP + Closing Date: OPEN UNTIL FILLED    Duties & Responsibilities: (Essential Functions of Position, Major Responsibilities, Summary of Key Duties, Special Assignments, Relationships) + Will work collaboratively with teachers in MTSS to assist in the success of all students + Will teach, model, and support PBIS in all building situations + Will work with students in skills room + Ability to work with ALL students + Computer skills are necessary to input data into student data system and manipulate spreadsheets + With classroom teachers, establish a positive learning environment while maintaining a structured setting + Assist with and support classroom teacher with instruction + Work collaboratively with teachers using developmentally appropriate practices, including following teacher’s direction for instruction + Assist teacher in monitoring students’ progress by keeping necessary records and giving feedback as requested + Willingness to work with students in a positive manner that will help develop and/or enhance the practice of self-discipline. Applicant should have the ability to resolve conflicts.
