Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GenAI CoE & Governance Lead to establish and lead our Generative AI Center of Excellence (CoE) and governance framework. This role will be pivotal in driving the strategic implementation and responsible use of Generative AI technologies across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI, data governance, and cross-functional leadership.
Major Responsibilities
Governance and Compliance:
Define and enforce governance policies, standards, and best practices for the use of Generative AI.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical guidelines.
Monitor and mitigate risks associated with AI technologies, including data privacy, security, and bias.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
Collaborate with executive leadership to align GenAI initiatives with business goals.
Identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases and projects.
Oversee the development and deployment of AI models and solutions and maintain a project portfolio across Magna.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with business units, IT, legal, and other stakeholders to drive AI adoption and integration.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice dissemination across the organization.
Provide guidance and support to teams on AI-related projects and initiatives.
Performance Measurement and Reporting:
Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the success and impact of GenAI initiatives.
Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on CoE activities and outcomes.
Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the GenAI governance framework.
Knowledge and Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
Advanced certifications in AI, data governance, or related areas are a plus.
Proven experience in leading AI or data science teams and projects.
Work Experience
5 to 7 years of work related experience.
Skills and Competencies
Deep understanding of Generative AI technologies and their applications.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and ensure ethical AI practices.
Strong background in AI governance, risk management, and compliance.
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
