Role: General Accountant – ASP Japan

Report To: Finance Head – ASP Japan

 

This position is responsible for the accuracy of Fin statements in accordance with US GAAP/JGAAP and various tax return preparation. Who is also the focal to coordinate works and/or process between Shanghai Shared Service Center and ASP JPN different functions or departments. This position plays a key role in support of ASP JPN Fin Head to maintain robust control environment. 

 

Tasks

Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in both US GAAP & JGAAP Prepare tax returns (corporate tax, consumption tax, depreciable assets tax, Withholding Tax) on time.  Support Fin Head to implement & maintain JPN Key Control Procedures, like Fixed Assets Count, INV Count, T&E Policy/Procedures, Coordinate daily works and/or process between Shanghai Share Service Center and JPN different departments or functions Review and Check JPN Employees T&E Claim Manage Banking Matters & Cash Flow.  Coordinate & Support Fin Statement audits and SOX audits.

 

Qualification Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Commerce. At least 10+ years of related financial experience with JPN GAAP and US GAAP. At least 10+ years of experience in tax related work. Be Proficient in Excel, familiar with SAP is a big plus. Good communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
