General Accountant - Accounts Receivable

 

Overview of the role:

We are looking for a passionate individual who will ensure timely and accurate billing and settlement of charges and credits to City Ledger.

 

Key Accountabilities:

Ensures that all transfers to Accounts Receivables Ledger through Income Audit, Accounts Payable and General Ledger agree with the control account. Ensures the posting of invoices and payments are up to date and that accounts are correctly aged. Follows up delivered statement of accounts to ensure they were received and checks for amendments. Processes invoices within 24 hours following guests' departure, renders interim and monthly statements, and follows up reminders on a timely basis Liaises with banks at all times regarding credit card chargebacks, late charges and queries.

 

General Requirements

Knowledgeable and with at least 5 years experienced in Accounts Receivables Extensive knowledge in accountability of Hotel revenue Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment Excellent customer service skills Relevant University Qualifications (e.g. Hotel Management, Business, Marketing)
