General Description

 

Our job performance is within the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, QHSE policy, Codes of Ethics and BV Group’s policies and procedures.

 

Tasks – Activities – Responsibilities

 

The General Accountant is responsible for performing a variety of accounting functions to ensure the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. The role involves maintaining general ledger accounts, preparing financial statements, and supporting the overall accounting operations of the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Manage the general ledger by recording, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions Playing a key role in the month-end and year-end close processes Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a regular basis Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a regular basis Assist on providing financial data to internal stakeholders. Ensure compliance with group accounting rules and internal policies and procedures Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial data Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor inquiries Stay up to date with changes in tax, accounting regulations and best practices Back up other team colleagues and assist accounting manager/ FC in other task upon request.

 

Job Qualifications

 

Bachelor of Finance & Accounting, pursue other professional certification (ACCA, CPA… is a plus) Minimum 2 years experience in senior accounting position Good at reading, writing & speaking English Proficient in the use of office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, …) and knowledge of accounting software (FLEX) is a plus Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, exhibits good credibility Ability to work independently and as part of a team, under pressure and time constrain Effective communication and interpersonal skills Proactive, willing to make thing changes is appreciated.
