Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions. **WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION** **​:** + **Maintaining Financial Records:** + Gathering supporting documentation and performing recordkeeping + Entering financial data such as accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries into the ledger on a monthly basis ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards, as well as preparing reports + Reviewing financial documents for accuracy and reconciling accounts + Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations + Monitor and ensure that all cash clearing accounts have zero balance at month end by working with relevant AR, AP and GL departments + **Financial Analysis:** + Analyzing financial data and providing recommendations + Performing account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct + Generating financial reports and preparing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closings for assigned entities in EMEA + Working with other departments to complete accurate records and provide accounting support + Actively identify and pursue process improvements in own scope of work + Proactively follow up on intercompany mismatches with other departments + Ensuring financial records comply with accounting principles and company procedures. + **Audit Support:** + Assisting internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits. **You have:** + Academic background in: University Degree specializing in Finance/Accounting + Previous experience in or with: 2+ years in accounting across General Ledger processes + M3 / SAP knowledge is an advantage + Good accounting knowledge; + Basic understanding of AR, AP, GL and bank processes + MS Office (advanced excel skills); **WE HAVE:** + A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day + At nVent, we believe safer systems ensure a more secure world.
