Job Description
Your mission:
Ownership of complex accounting areas: You will be responsible for a wide variety of accounting challenges (including Share Based Payments (IFRS2)) requiring both strong data processing skills (manual and semi-automated calculation files) and knowledge of financial reporting and international accounting standards ). This includes:
performing controlling over the area;
managing and coordinating improvement projects aimed to make accounting processes more reliable, efficient and automated;
collaborating with various finance and other teams to obtain understanding about transactions and work out appropriate accounting processes and sufficient controls to mitigate operational risks.
Knowledge development and training: You will be responsible for strengthening the General Accounting team's expertise by organising and facilitating internal Accounting and IFRS training sessions. This includes:
designing and delivering training programs to enhance technical knowledge and application of accounting standards;
fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications
A bit about you:
Practice – You have prior experience as Senior Accountant, Financial Controller or Audit Manager. Prior experience in international/listed companies or FinTech would be highly beneficial. You have practical experience in managing accounting projects and demonstrated resilience to break through and overcome challenges. You may have built things from scratch.
Theory – Strong understanding of the core accounting principles (IFRS knowledge would be highly beneficial).
Ownership – You work independently, assume responsibility and make your own judgements. You are prepared to take ownership over complex new areas and solve problems with minimal guidance.
Love getting things done – You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and take responsibility to do whatever needs doing to solve problems.
Collaborative and influencing skills – You work well in an international team environment, and know how to have an impact through others. You have partnered with internal and external stakeholders and have strong communication skills.
Additional Information
Starting salary - 3,500 - 4,000 EUR per month (+RSU's)
