**Description** **General Cardiologist Needed in Beautiful Western, NC** UNC Caldwell is the choice for health care in Caldwell County, NC. Our 137-bed licensed acute care hospital includes 110 medical and 27 psychiatric is a member of the UNC Health System. The Emergency Department sees approximately 30,000 visits a year. _UNC Physicians Network_ provides the majority of primary care and select specialty care to the surrounding market from thirteen separate medical park locations throughout the county. The Caldwell team is seeking a general medical cardiologist. **General Description:** + Full-time, 4-5 clinic days per week; Inpatient/Outpatient with 1:3 Call Schedule or better + UNC Heart & Vascular- 322 Mulberry Street, Lenoir, NC 28645 with long-term plans for a satellite location in Granite Falls, NC. + Cardiac rehab is currently housed in the clinic with plans to expand to another site and add a pulmonary component. + A brand new, state of the art, Heart Center will be open in 2025 and will be attached to the hospital with pre/post patient bays. + Staff: employs 1.5 physicians and 1 APP, 1 local general cardiologist and 1 local electrophysiologist also practice at UNC Caldwell.
