Cennox is looking for a General Construction Laborer to work in the Minneapolis, MN area. Primary business is commercial construction and renovation services for financial institutions.
Position Summary:
We are seeking hard-working, hands-on individuals to provide general labor services to support commercial construction and renovation projects for financial institutions. Project work takes place after hours and on weekends.
Duties and Responsibilities:Prepare construction sites as neededClean the construction site nightly so they are available to be open the following dayRemoving and properly disposing of debris and waste materialsGeneral demolition workMoving furniture on the job site to accommodate subcontracted tradesFollow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to managementPerform other duties as assigned
Skills and Requirements:Minimal construction experience necessaryAbility to operate a variety of hand and power toolsAbility to assist carpenters, painters, or other tradespeople on-siteStrong communication skills Ability to prioritize a workloadValid driver’s license and reliable transportationAble and willing to work nights and weekendsClean DMV/Background Check back to 18 years old
Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and move 50 or more poundsAbility to work indoors and outside (including during inclement weather)Ability to stand for extended periods of timeAbility to climb, bend, stoop, and reach freely
