This position is responsible for performing various duties on a construction site as directed by site leadership.
Responsibilities Perform general labor duties such as spotting trucks, using hand tools (shovel, rake, post hole digger, etc.), installing silt fence and using small equipmentSweep and mop trailer floor, clean work area and wash trucksFlag vehicles in and out of the construction siteLearn, follow, and promote all safety regulationsPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications Valid driver’s license requiredMinimum one-year experience working in a construction or similar environment preferredGeneral knowledge of construction and mechanical equipment preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred Work Environment & Conditions This position requires a flexible work schedule: nights, weekends, holidays, and/or overtimeMust be able to climb, maintain body equilibrium, reach, grasp, bend and walk/stand for extended periods of timeMust be able to hear and see naturally or with correctionMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsBe subject to loud noisesBe subject to atmospheric conditions - one or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin: fumes, odor, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilationThis position requires working in the internal and external environmentAbility to work independently and as a team Ability to work under pressure with time constraints in a changing environment
