The General Duty Plant Operator plays a key role in the identification of performance issues and actively contributes to the resolution of problems and the continuous improvement of the plant performance. This is accomplished through strict adherence to prescribed equipment operating parameters, closely monitoring the performance of the process equipment, and taking action to reduce occurrences of both efficiency and/or material losses. **WHAT YOU'LL DO FOR US**
**Job Objective:** To carry out assigned activities in connection with the Manufacturing of Beverage Base and Concentrate under the guidance of Supervisor and Production Manager.
**Job Nature:** Follows established procedures and guidelines to form a variety of simple, manual, automated or semiautomated tasks that form part of a production process; loads materials into production machines; this also includes handling of material bags up to 25 Kgs. Removes packs and sorts raw materials or finished products; collects and disposes of garbage and production waste; cleans production equipment and work areas. Individual contributor that performs established procedures and will typically be considered semi-skilled through on-the-job experience; resolves routine issues with senior staff or supervisory guidance and approval.
**Job Description Overview:**
+ To carry out assigned production activities about manufacturing of concentrate and beverage base under the guidance of area lead / production manager.
+ Support Production team to achieve production targets and plant KPIs including but not only limited to TDQ, PDR, Perfect Order, and Overall Equipment efficiency and maintenance metrics.
+ Take a leading role in one of assigned task by production manager related to specific area of responsibility. Will also responsible to coordinate with other operators for the completeness of said Task.
+ Carry out maintenance of assigned process related equipment.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Routine Jobs:**
+ Receive production schedule for the day from Area Lead / Production lead.
+ Receive Batch sheet/working note from the Area lead / Production lead & arrange raw material, pkg. material and other accessories for the specific batch.
+ Arrange labels for label applications on pkg. for the batch
+ Perform verification of relevant equipment to be used for manufacturing process
+ Can handle relevant process control steps related to data acquisition, Torque recording, RPM for mixing process, flow meters and any further added activity or process based on process control requirements.
+ Execute Production according to batch sheet/working notes.
+ Operate the mixing, filling, sealing, labelling, material handling activities. Calculate and verify remnant for mixing and / or filling.
+ Handover the finished goods and remnant to SC operator after filling for stacking in store.
+ Return the completed PI sheet and WN to Area Lead / Production lead. (With complete required information and related documents including data acquisition, RPM, torque, RPM, flow meters data etc.
+ Defacing of empty drums labels based on The Company requirements.
+ Carry out cleaning and sanitation activities as per Cleaning and sanitation procedure. Full command on CIP operation and in depth understanding of CIP / COP process and CIP change over matrix
+ Carryout all housekeeping activities in the relevant area according to KORE requirements and guidelines, and as outlined in Site GMP program. Effective Execution of GMP CAP in relevant area to eliminate the re-occurrence of non-conformances.
+ Preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, BEC of process equipment as per maintenance plan and maintenance needs, under supervision of senior general duty operators / area lead.
+ Have complete check on all activities being performed by fellow associates / operators in Manufacturing and Filling area. Ensure all relevant records are maintained accurately and timely.
+ Ensure the careful handling of all equipment, pumps, filling and sealing during routine working
+ Ensure the storage of all the relevant materials (Liquid / Dry FG and ingredients) at designated storage at the end of the day.
+ Handle or drive material handling devices like forklift to arrange and transfer the raw materials and finished products respectively for daily production.
+ Ensure completion of relevant QA checks, like ingredient inspection, physical appearance check, torque testing, weights verification, leakage checking, metal detector verification and dry powders checking after passing through metal detector.
+ Counter check the filing and / or mixing data with prints from Data acquisition system, Torque monitoring system, RPM system and flow meters data monitoring system.
+ Weigh all ingredients before its use to calculate accurate MUV i.e., reduce losses. Report any deviations from standards to production manager.
+ Actively participate in KORE / ISO system implementation and management by writing the relevant documents. Ensure full compliance to the system. Updating records and documents, accordingly.
+ Follow HSE procedures and policies, effectively. Report any incident / near miss immediately to his manager.
+ Actively participate in all in house meetings i.e., shop floor meetings, safety committee, GMP, business planning, continuous improvements etc.
+ Contribute to continual improvement program through ideas generation and input of observations through behavior-based safety program.
+ Complete required trainings identified as required for skill matrix of current position, needed regulatory and management systems trainings. (Assigned trainings in N-volve, Ethics and Compliance)
**Non-Routine Jobs:**
+ Cleaning equipment exterior with chemicals like topax, sandpaper, rust cleaners etc.
+ Internal scrubbing and cleaning of tanks
+ External meshes of air handling units' ducts cleaning.
+ Supporting area leads for filing etc.
+ Shutdown maintenance tasks
+ Support to other functions on need basis.
+ Working with vendors for support and oversight of specific improvement projects.
**QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS**
+ DAE in Mechanical/Chemical or Electrical
+ Minimum 2 years' experience W.R.T Job title, Preferred 3 years' experience W.R.T job title.
+ Should have capability of reading and writing English to understand SOPs, process instructions and can complete required records filling
+ Computer literacy and strong mechanical aptitude
+ Flexibility to work any shift as required in an operating facility with little notice
+ Must be a team player and be willing to rotate positions as needed
+ Participation in job development training and cross-training on all equipment is required
