We are seeking an experienced and dedicated General Foreman to oversee day-to-day field operations. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will implement project plans and schedules, ensure site safety and quality control, and delegate work to field staff, contractors, and tradespeople.

Essential Responsibilities

Ensure projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and building codesOversee quality testing requirements and manage Project Quality Plan (PQP) conformance on siteEnsure site safety measures meet or exceed corporate safety manuals and regulatory requirementsLead project safety meetings and participate in developing the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP)Monitor short-term construction schedules to ensure milestones and completion dates are metEstimate duration of activities and materials required for multi-discipline estimatesProvide direction to field staff and coordinate resources to meet project objectivesSupervise craft employees and subcontractors on site regarding safety, schedule, and quality expectationsPrepare purchase requisitions and review subtrade/supplier invoices

Qualifications

3- 5 yeas of construction experience as a foreman, lead hand, or in a similar supervisory role2-year college, trade or technical diploma (preferred)Understanding of current construction practices, documents, costs, and budgetsAbility to plan and manage project schedules, developing solutions for moderate situations within defined guidelinesEffective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders while building and managing a diverse teamStrong organizational and planning skills

Working Conditions

This is a site-based positionUp to 40% travel across the state of Kentucky and to various Ledcor offices
