JOB SUMMARY:
The main focus for the General Hand role is to to assist in the everyday running and maintenance of the Port Macquarie facility, other adhoc duties relating to the operation of the site and driving a standard of excellence through presentation. Also conducting general housekeeping duties to ensure workshop is clean and well organized at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Ensure all HSE policies and procedures are followed as part of your duty of care and all incidents are reported accordinglyPreparation of manufactured components and equipment prior to painting including but not limited to; cleaning, sanding, minor body work repairs, maskingAssist in loading and unloading of equipment and plant onto courier vehicles and trucksAssist in the pre-delivery of machines with touch up paint and minor body repairs as requiredFollow instructions whilst working under a minimum of supervisionConduct general housekeeping duties to ensure paint shop is always clean and well organizedMaintenance and upkeep of overall facility and premises to a high standard including but not limited to – (for example)paintingsmall building repairsfacility maintenancegardening, weeding and sprayingMinor repairs and maintenance using hand & power toolscleaning & rubbish removal small renovationsfabrication and maintenance of jigs, fixtures and tooling used in the manufacture of JLG productsGeneral ad-hoc duties as requiredMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in a similar roleAbility to use general handyman tools proficiently & safelyAbility to effectively communicate both written and verbalProficient Language, Literacy and Numeracy including the ability to write job notes, read safety information, machine manuals and understand basic numeracy such as time, parts numbers and quantitiesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
