The opportunity
Primary job duties will include but not limited to safely perform a wide range of tasks supporting the manufacturing areas, production, conducting quality checks, material set-up, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safe, demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operating complex machinery, and have a desire to advance within the company.
Shift: 3rd - 11 pm - 7 am.
Pay: $20.56/hr plus $0.25 Shift Diff (3rd Shift)
Support the operation of a fast-paced packaging manufacturing facility Focusing on our customers’ success will allow you opportunities to develop and grow your career in manufacturing The Production Worker is normally the third team member assigned to a machine in the Production Department Being able to support operators on different machinery while assisting different areas as needed Some of the duties of this position include, but are not limited to: ensuring that all tooling for the machine is on hand, assisting the machine operator and assistant operator with setups and jam-ups, ensuring that the area surrounding the machine is kept clean of debris and spills
What you need to succeed:
High School diploma or GED required Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment A strong desire to advance within the industry Corrugated box manufacturing a plus; familiarity with Flexo, Gluers, Rotaries, Clamp Trucks and Forklifts are a plus Flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts; available to work overtime, including weekends as needed Math skills will be assessed This position requires standing, walking, lifting, bending, and crouching
