It provides prototyping on-site heat treating and international shipping services. **How will you make a difference?** As a member of the SanCasT group, you will be responsible for General performing a variety of manual tasks to support overall operations. This may include lifting, moving, and transporting materials and equipment as needed. General laborers also assist with basic maintenance and cleaning duties to help keep the work environment organized and well-maintained. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures is essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively with team members to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner. General laborers play an important role in maintaining a clean and organized workspace to support the efficient functioning of the organization. Other duties may be assigned as required to meet the needs of the business. **What do we want to know about you?** + High School Diploma or GED required. + Must be able to read and follow all quality process/work instructions. + Must obey all safety rules and wear all proper Personal Protection Equipment + Must perform at least 1 weeks of on the job training with a previously qualified operator and become certified. **What will your typical day look like?** + Follow all SanCasT safety policies and actively point out any safety concerns. + Perform all general foundry operations except furnace operator and quality inspection. These operations may include, Molding, Iron-pour, Muller, Break-off, and Brinell. + Inspect product and/or sand molds for defects. Separate Scrap and notify supervision of any production or quality issues. + Inspect product to established standards and work instructions. + Complete required documentation. + Read follow and maintain process sheets. + Place acceptable castings in correct tubs and separate scrap castings. + Tag Products, assist with inventory **What about the physical demands of the job?** + This position works in the plant environment and must be able to see, speak, hear, walk, sit, climb stairs, bend on a daily basis, and lift at least 80 pounds. + Wear all required PPE at all times around the shop. You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary. Our job titles may span more than one career level. The pay for this role is $19/hr. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands, and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
