Job Summary

General labor is responsible for safely handling lumber products. Verifies material meets customer requirements and company expectations.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Moves and secures products and other materials according to instructionsLabels material based on the following specifications: type, size, and countApplies individual tags to material before/after treating/productionLoads/unloads truck and trailer for deliveries according to safety standardsCommunicates with vendors and customersFollows instructions for stacking material properly and according to company policy and customer requirementsMaintains company vehicle and report directly to supervisor if vehicle is not compliant to safety standardsDirect report to supervisorMaintains a clean and organized work areaAssists with other work areas by moving material, loading and unloading material cartsParticipates in safety, CI and other programs and meetingsPerforms other duties as required

Qualifications

Must have valid Driver's LicenseBilingual preferred, but not required for positionMust be able to back up flat bed trailerNo minimum experience is requiredMust be at least 18 years of age
