Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday
(Note: This schedule repeats every 2 weeks, with shifts varying as needed. This is not a set schedule.)
Pay Rate: $15 per hour
Position Purpose:
The General Laborer will be responsible for a variety of tasks to assist in warehouse/production operations, which may include physical handling of products, materials, and supplies. This position also involves operating industrial equipment, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and performing general maintenance and warehouse duties as needed. The role requires flexibility as work schedules may vary, and workers may be required to step in for other positions as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
Physical Handling of Products and Materials:
Move, load, unload, and stack products, materials, supplies, and equipment in warehouse or production areas.
Perform tasks such as bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50+ pounds, and climbing as part of daily responsibilities.
Warehouse & Production Duties:
Restock and replenish supplies and products as needed.
Perform general maintenance and cooler service duties.
Operate industrial power equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified) to assist with material handling.
Fill in for other positions as needed, ensuring smooth operations.
Work Area Maintenance & Safety Compliance:
Maintain a clean and orderly work area in compliance with company safety and sanitation standards.
Adhere to all company safety guidelines and procedures, including temperature monitoring, face covering requirements, and proper footwear.
Equipment Operation:
Safely operate manual and powered pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other equipment as necessary.
Ensure proper handling of materials and supplies to prevent damage and accidents.
Compliance with Regulatory and Company Policies:
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
Comply with all safety procedures, including the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), as outlined by Company.
Collaboration and Team Support:
Work effectively with other team members and departments to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Assist in filling in for other positions, when required, to meet operational needs.
Skills/Requirements:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
Experience:
0-1 year of general work experience required.
Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or equipment service role preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to operate manual or powered pallet jacks and lift products.
Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols and company procedures.
Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting up to 50+ pounds, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
Forklift certification is a plus (training may be provided).
Footwear & Safety Compliance:
Safety Footwear Requirements:
Steel-toe boots required, meeting Company’s safety footwear specification:
Puncture-resistant (Kevlar bottom).
Class 75 protective toe (steel or composite).
Slip-resistant soles that meet Mark II LS-oily/wet test at .35/higher.
Minimum 6” height boots (no low-cut shoes).
Other Requirements:
Ability to work in a variety of environments, including production areas, warehouses, and cooler environments.
Ability to follow safety protocols including wearing face coverings and passing temperature monitoring checks prior to entering the facility.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Work Environment:
This role involves physical work in a warehouse, production, or distribution environment.
Temperature monitoring will be conducted before entering the facility.
PPE, including face coverings and steel-toe boots, is required while at the facility.
Additional Notes:
All workers will be subject to Company's safety and PPE policies, including specific footwear specifications.
The schedule varies every two weeks (Mon/Tue/Fri/Sat/Sun in Week 1; Wed/Thurs in Week 2). Flexibility is required to meet operational demands.
Pay Details: $15.00 per hour
