MBS Solutions in York, PA has the immediate need of an experienced Laborer for 1st shift.
JOB TITLE-Skilled General Laborer
PAY RATE- $16/hr
* Will potentially go up after 90 days based on performance, attitude, and attendance. *
LOCATION-
West York, PA 17404
SHIFT-
1st Shift: 7AM-3PM *Mon-Fri |
& 7AM-12PM | *Saturdays as needed, roughly 1 a month.
OVERTIME: Yes, potential for OT must be opening to working the 7AM-12PM on occasional Saturdays.
3 MOST IMPORTANT THINGS CLIENT NEEDS THIS PERSON TO HAVE-
Comfortable working in the outdoors (cold, heat, snow rain) and is not afraid to get dirty. Forklift exp.
Willingness to flex/learn other areas; Must have steel toed boots.
Reliability and dependability to show up to work! Great opportunity for someone willing to put in the work!
JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES—
Assists in the loading/unloading of trucks, clean up machinery and conveyors and maintain the surrounding area clear of debris.
Assist in quality control and directing traffic in the yard, operate a variety of hand tools
Sit-down forklift will be used to help move material and be processed after it has been weighed
Must have experience with Sit-down forklift.
Must have the ability to learn to operate other equipment pieces and willing to learn other tasks.
May be assisting customers that come in with miscellaneous metals to be weighed such as but not limited to (copper, brass, aluminum etc.).
May be assisting weighing the items.
Must have good customer service capability, communication skills, and the willingness to work with various customers throughout entire shift.
Fast paced environment (goal is to get their products weighed, get them paid and out the door).

Must be safety conscious; Ability to work in all types of weather.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS-
Will be working inside/ outside in the snow, rain, cold and heat!
Ability to easily lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
Ability to bend, walk and stand for extended periods of time, as needed.
