The Job Opportunity: 

The Smurfit Westrock Mississauga facility is looking for General Labourers to work in Production on days, afternoons and nights.  This position is responsible for stacking finished cartons onto skids, perform quality checks, assist operators and printers with machine set up and housekeeping duties, communicate as a team to produce quality cartons. What you need to succeed:

Previous experience working in a manufacturing or printing environment considered an asset.Can do attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the CompanyAbility to adapt to changes in priorities, work independently and with a teamStrong written and verbal communication skills.Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.Ability to stand and walk 100% of shift on a concrete floor and ability to lift up to 40 pounds.Must be able to maintain good attendance.

 

 

Shift Schedule: Must be willing to work either of the following schedule. Must be willing to change shifts due to vacation coverage or other operational needs. 

 

Days:

Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM to 3:00 PMFriday: 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Afternoons:

Monday to Thursday: 3:00 PM to 10:30 PMFriday: 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM

Nights:

Monday to Thursday: 10:30 PM to 7:30 PMFriday: OFF
