Description We are in the process of recruiting a General Ledger Accountant for our team located in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will primarily focus on GAAP applications, financial reporting, and account reconciliations. You will also be tasked with maintaining accurate records for Fixed Assets, Intangibles, Leases, Internally Developed Software, and Intercompany Allocations. This job offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities • Provide meticulous attention to detail in all tasks • Show proficiency in the use of NetSuite in the completion of duties • Prepare Journal Entries with precision and timeliness • Conduct regular balance sheet and income statement preparations • Handle multiple lines on the balance sheet with accuracy • Engage in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process • Conduct comprehensive variance analysis for Fixed Assets, Intangibles, Leases, Internally Developed Software, and Intercompany Allocations • Support audit activities effectively • Assist in the financial reporting process in a timely and accurate manner Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a General Ledger Accountant • Proficiency in using NetSuite software • Comprehensive understanding and experience with General Ledger • Demonstrated experience handling Fixed Assets • Knowledge and practical experience dealing with Intangible Assets • Familiarity with Leases and ability to provide expert advice on the same • Proficiency in preparing and understanding Balance Sheets • Experience conducting Balance Sheet Reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
