Robert Half is seeking a General Ledger Accounting Manager to join a dynamic and fast-paced organization. In this role, you will oversee general ledger functions, ensure compliance with financial standards, and lead a team of accounting professionals. Key Responsibilities:
+ Oversee and manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) (Source: U.S. Department of Labor).
+ Supervise the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
+ Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes to ensure timely outcomes.
+ Analyze general ledger accounts and investigate variances to ensure the accuracy of financial statements.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll to facilitate seamless reporting.
+ Develop and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations.
+ Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies to mitigate risk.
+ Provide mentorship, training, and performance evaluations for the accounting team.
+ Stay updated on regulatory changes and lead the implementation of new accounting standards, as needed.
SALARY RANGE: $115,000 - $135,000

Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
+ 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
+ Strong knowledge of general ledger functions and financial statement preparation.
+ Proficiency in financial software systems (i.e., ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
+ Exceptional attention to detail and analytical abilities.
+ Strong knowledge of internal controls and compliance requirements (Source: AICPA Standards).
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
+ Experience in a fast-paced or multi-entity environment is a plus.
