Position Summary:

This position is responsible for performing basic repairs and routine maintenance in the facility.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:

Completes maintenance Work OrdersAssists other trades, as needed

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalentFour years of experience operating power tools, fork lifts and handling requests with other trades

Competencies:  Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:

Basic knowledge of the safe and effective use of all types of power toolsAbility to interpret and follow manuals, sketches and work orders

Training Requirements:

Proper use of equipment and tools required to complete job dutiesRespirator trained and fit testedMan lift training (scissor and boom lift)Forklift trainingFall trainingMandated safety training

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Must be able to work in a smoking environment as well as various weather conditions including extreme hot and coldMust be able to lift 50 lbs.Must be able to bend, stoop, reach and climb a ladderMust be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
