\n\nPay: $40.96 plus full-time benefits\nShift: various– must have availability to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays. \n\nThe ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
\n\n\n3-5 years’ experience as a general maintenance engineer in a hotel environment/commercial building\nKnowledge of all maintenance trades, including basic electrical (up to 208 volts), plumbing, & mechanical\nAbility to communicate effectively, maximize resources, and adhere to strict health and safety regulations.\nFlexible approach is imperative to the ever-changing demands of the department.\nAbility to maintain excellent working relationships with your department and hotel colleagues.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel \n\n Preferred Qualifications:\n\nA Universal 608 refrigeration Certification\nA Los Angeles CPO Certification\nWelding experience\n\n\nWant to learn more? What will I be doing?

As a General Maintenance Engineer, you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nMaintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas\nRespond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment\nPerform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work and masonry\nConduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs\nRecord and report completed repairs and items that require further attention\nWhat are we looking for?
