Job Title General Maintenance Supervisor Posting Number F006246 Position Status Full Time Assignment Length This field only applies to Faculty Grant Funded No Category Plant Operations Class Code 60 Starting Pay $51,792 Special Note Location Northeast Department DT Physical Plant Job Summary Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the General Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the overall management of TCC building maintenance and ensuring work is done in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Essential Performance Requirements* Performs tasks related to the management of building maintenance and repairs, ensuring work is done in a timely and cost-efficient manner Inspects work, monitors schedules, performs evaluations, and meets with assigned maintenance staff on a regular basis Evaluates existing buildings and areas and provides advice and estimates for changes or repairs Works with contractors and vendors to obtain bids and quotes to supply services or product to the district Maintains work orders, records and reports Coordinates with construction services, grounds, plant personnel, and the learning community and meets with end users on a regular basis


Service Excellence Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC) Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College
Supervision Works under the general supervision of the Facilities Manager

Required Minimum Qualifications • Associate’s degree or 60 college hours and five (5) years related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and related experience
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record Preferred Qualifications • CAD license
• Coursework in blue print reading
