Job Overview Performs general maintenance and repair of equipment and building requiring practical skill and knowledge (but not proficient) in such trades as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and basic electrical work. Responsibilities Essential Duties & Job Functions: Performs a variety of duties involving the installation and/or repairs basic electrical equipment, painting, plumbing, carpentry and/or masonry, but not to proficiency. Assists other crafts and trades personnel in their daily operations. Inspects work to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, policies, and regulations. Supports the project Safety Plan through personal involvement in all aspects of safety, including training and attention to the adherence to safety requirements pertaining to particular trades or skills. Keeps supervisor apprised of unique situations and problems encountered. Ensures proper housekeeping practices are observed. Performs other tasks as directed by supervisor. Job Requirements Mandatory: Valid State driver’s license. Performs general maintenance and repair of equipment and building or comparable experience. Must be able to comprehend, read, speak, and write fluently in the English language. Working knowledge (less than Journeyman) in, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, painting, and basic electrical. Employee must furnish their own hand tools. Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional and courteous manner in diversified situations. Possess an OSHA 10 card or have the ability to get one within the first 90 days of employment.
