The General Maintenance Worker assists the professional staff in performing mechanical and maintenance, and reporting on various types of general and special purpose equipment. At a minimum, must perform established Washington Health System Core General Maintenance Worker Skills & Responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Accountable and responsible for various mechanical and general maintenance and repair. Accurately reports information to members of the department team and other members of Washington Health System in order that they may intervene to provide adequate and appropriate care. Adheres to the Washington Performance System, and complies with all external regulatory and accrediting bodies while ensuring safety of patients/families, visitors, and staff. Adheres to all established HIPAA rules and regulations. Approaches and solves problems while considering all relevant facts to the issue with an outcome of a timely, good decision. Scope of decision making is limited and relates to the completion of assigned work tasks. Documents care/work following established standards, mechanisms, and protocols of Washington Health System.

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 7:30AM. – 4PM. Must be able to work other shifts/days, if needed at times.
